This is a collection of letters and photographs related to Elia Yovtcheff, class of 1877. Most of the correspondence is between Elia Yovcheff and Edward North, a professor of Greek of Hamilton College from 1904 to 1934.

Elia Stephens Yovtcheff was born in Hungary. He attended Hamilton College, class of 1877, and also lectured at the College on Hungarian culture. Mr. Yovtcheff was a friend of Edward North, professor of classics at Hamilton College. These materials are part of the Edward North Papers (0000.164) in the Hamilton College Archives.
