This provides access to the official monthly publication of the United Societies of Shakers of America.


Inventory

This collection includes digital images and transcripton of every page of the full run of the journal: 16 volumes, 349 issues, and 8,136 pages.



Digitization - Digitization was performed by the Digitizing and Cataloging Service of Backstage Library Works, Inc. at 600 dpi, 24-bit color and saved as uncompressed TIF images. Images are delivered in JPEG format.

Formats - The digitized images are backed up by text that can be searched, but not viewed.

Credits - Digitization of this collection was made possible by grants from the New York State Regional Bibliographic Databases and Interlibrary Resources Sharing Program through CLRC (Central New York Library Resources Council). Metadata for the collection was created by library staff.
